We know it’s not “Throwback Thursday” but we just couldn’t wait another day to shine light on this one of a kind Basch Visual Art Center on the campus of Ringling College of Art + Design!
Trident was honored to play a large roll by providing and installing the structural steel, stairs, handrails, and misc. items for this 38,000 square foot, 3 story facility that brings a high level of modern architecture to the city of Sarasota!
The Basch Visual Art Center houses a gallery, multiple classrooms as well as several specialized labs, including a hot glass studio for the students of Ringling.
This building was designed with student artists and the community in mind with its windows alongside both walkways, allowing pedestrians to view the artists at work on various projects.
